The best humidifier ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fantastic humidifier! It's quiet, powerful, and so effective! I received the Vornado humidifier as a sample product in exchange for an honest review. I was not familiar with product before trying it out, but it is far superior to other humidifiers I have tried -- and I've run through many different kinds over the years. I love the fact that it holds a HUGE amount of water. It can tackle a lot of work without my having to constantly refill it. It also controls the humidity so that it's not continually operating if the room is at the desired level. I tried it in different areas of the house to see if it really is a "smart" machine and adjusts output. Yep, it does! I can set it near my desk and not have a problem with water condensing on the desk like other models I have used. I also put the unit on a house level with an open floor plan between a few rooms, and it works perfectly. And when it needs refilled, it has an auto-shutoff feature. I can run it in the nursery with no worries it's going to try to run on empty and create a safety issue. This machine is one I can run without worrying the kids will get burned or that it will leak. So many of the minor irritations I've had with other humidifiers just aren't even an issue. I live in the Midwest, and the weather is unpredictable. The last couple of weeks we've had a few dry days and then storms, followed by some extremely humid days, more storms, and then a heatwave that dried things out again. This machine actually does adjust to the needed output. I have an older relative living in my home who suffers from COPD, and I now plan to Vornado humidifiers in the areas of the home he uses. The machine is super easy to clean. The nice long warranty period gives me a lot of confidence as well. I would definitely recommend purchasing this product. It's a reliable machine that does a really great job. It's a product that ACTUALLY DOES WHAT IT SAYS IT WILL DO, and it does it well. Yay!

I bought this humidifier to replace two misting humidifiers that were hard to keep clean a d left dust all over our apartment. I had settled on looking for a evaporative type humidifier and did some research concerning , ease of cleaning, water capacity, type of controls, and area square footage that each unit would humidify. I found this vornado model and was impressed with the water capacity, ease of cleaning and the digital controls, as well as the DC motor which would vary the fan speed based on the humidity measured by the humidistate built into the unit. The unit was able to maintain our apartment, approximately 900+ square feet at about 35% humidity level for the last month. Replacing water is si.e and easy. Very happy with the unit.

Horrible product

Poor design. When removing the tanks to to refill you will have a trail of dripping water from the humidifier all the way to the sink. Unless of course you wait until it’s completely empty. And don’t even try to move this thing once you have water in the base unless you are prepared with towels to dry your floor. Vornado generally makes good products but this is a huge disappointment. Save yourself money and a headache. Don’t buy.

Breath right.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I've used the same humidifier for years and couldn't complain.its light weight and easy to use. I got the Vornado and I can feel the difference in air quality. My daughter has allergies and when I used it during one of her spells, I can see that it was helping. She also said she could breathe better. I was not aware of this humidifer with Vornado but exceeded expectations and I'd definitely recommend to friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this humidifier in my home. The air is so dry in my house we are always getting statice shocks. I like the sleek design of the vornado humidifier. It is easy to use. With the other humidifier I use to use before. It literally made the walls in my bedroom drip and run with water. It made the humidity in my room way to high. With the vornado humidifier I like that I don't have to worry about that happening. It really sucks to have to wipe condensation off the walls. I am glad that the vornado humidifier also comes backed with a warranty. My old humidifier was not energy efficient like the vornado. Most of the products we have been buying lately are energy efficient. I also like the quality and durability of the vornado humidifier. It isn't really loud when it is running.Overall I recommend this product. In my opinion it is definitely one of the higher quality humidifiers on the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box I was impressed. The design is compact and the sleek lines and curves means it fits well in any home. Filling is a simple operation and with the touch of a botton the Vornado is ready to go. Operation even on high was incredibly silent. It's odd to say but everything about this humidifier screams high class. It's a downright beautiful piece of equipment with unprecedented form and function. Bravo Vornado, you've earned yourself a life long customer.

Big and powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product is great and one of the things I love about it is that it doesn't get water all around it like those misting humidifiers do! The 2 water chambers are also a huge benefit as I feel with those smaller compact units that I am constantly refilling the water, which is not the case with this product. The settings are great for high, low, energy efficient, as well as humidity %. These controls allow me to set it how I want for the room. The only thing that I didn't like about this unit was everything seems to be a separate unattached piece. When I pulled it out of the box, the bottom piece, water chambers, and wicks fell out while I was holding the main body (so when you open it, make sure you grab from the bottom). Granted, all the individual pieces make it easy to clean all the parts which is great as well. Know there are several parts now, I am able to set it up and use with ease. The output of moisture in the air feels great after a few hours of use and makes our room feel away more comfortable than before.
Pros: Durable, Good Power Output, Stylish
Cons: Heavy / Bulky, Too many parts, Unstable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This humidifier is wonderful! I used to wake up with dry eyes, dry mouth and nose, since I have had this set up I have had no issues with that. It's quiet and leaves no water mess. I would recommend this to anyone that needs some moisturize in the air. Wonderful! Gonna buy one as a gift for my mother!
