Solid experience, disappointing camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this phone since November 2017 and it has been good to me. As a professional diver, it often sees tough conditions outdoors near salt and fresh water environments and it has survived. That said, it is nothing like the quality of previous LG devices I have owned. My G2 and G3 were both excellent phones for their time and as you can see from my photos, the G3 still fairs better than the V30 in night photo quality. They were far more durable and i even trusted my G3 near water more than this phone and the G3 had a removable battery! I hope with future iderations of their phones LG returns to that quality. If they continue with the direction of the v30, I may need to find a new smartphone standard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the lg v10 for awhile and boy, let me tell you, this phone is such an upgrade. From all the features and battery life, I am simply amazed. I'm on 1 month so I'm still testing this baby out, but so far so good. The phone itself is slippery, you do have to hold it with caution as it will slip out of your hands easily.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far this is a great phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have read many mixed reviews about this phone, but overall it is very solid and I've had no problems. The finger print sensor is in a logical place, unlike some other brands. The camera does take some getting used to just because there are so many options and features. The only issue I have seen so far is when the display brightness is turned way down. It does tend to show uneven color when that happens, but why would you ever practically need the brightness under 25%? I read of some people having scrolling lag issues, and although I don't use social media much if at all (I prefer to live my life in the real world, not some farce of one made up by what people chose to share with you of theirs) and that appears to be where most of the complaints originate.
As far as physical appearance, it very much looks as high quality as it operates. I love the look although I did already get two scratches on the back somehow even though I have had a case on it from day one so be careful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my phone! I was wanting to upgrade my phone because it was running slow, would freeze at times and was hardly useable. I was originally going to get the G6 but then LG announced the V30. Once all the specs were released I knew that I wanted that phone but there was no launch date or anything. I almost gave up on waiting but I didn't. Some tech review sites got a hold of some leaked info that said korea would get the phone first and then the US would get it shortly after but it was still unknown when that would be. Then it happened it was released online first and then later would be available at carrier stores. I was able to get my phone on October 9th and I'm so glad I waited because I love my phone. I can finally multi task with out it locking up, it's super fast, and I've had zero problems with it. The dual cameras on the back take amazing features, I like that the finger print reader and lock screen button are on the back sorta in the middle. I also keep finding new things my phone can do every day.

Best Phone EVER!!!!!!

And by far this LG is the best out the smart phones that I have ever had. Great features, apps runs fast too, I would recommend this phone to anyone tired of the Galaxy phones. Also, Galaxy os takes a lot more space. LG doesn't take that much

I upgraded from an LG V10 to the LG V30, what a Fantastic Phone, the Camera's are so nice, it has met all expectations, I would buy again at the drop of a hat....

massive improvments over older models

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kinda miss the ergonomic volume buttons but the curve display and better resolition screen make up for it. I ran a LG G6 for a while towards the end i was plagued with battery hold issuesand charger port issues. With the new charger you dont run the risk of bending the USB pins the newer charger also charges fast as well as holds power throught a 12 hr day shift.
