[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never normally do reviews, but since owning this LG V30, I felt a quick few words would do it justice. The design and build quality are no short of stunning in both looks and feel together with impressive specification to make this smartphone (are they still called that?) the best on the market. I did ponder between the S8 and V30 and spent some time doing research and seeing them side-by-side, but ultimately, the V30 just has a few things that I personally preferred (bigger screen, bigger battery, HDAC support and a preferred aspect ratio). The infinity display just didn't do it for me as, in my opinion, is there just to look nice - at the end of the day, the display is distorted over the edges. The V30 has a very slight 'infinity effect' which just works so much better). There is not a single thing that I would change about this phone.

Even though it may be common practice, I can't ignore the fact that only specific models have an unlockable bootloader. I think the phone itself is worthy of 5 stars but I'm giving it 4, tempted to give it 3 for the bootloader restrictions

The phone itself is great. It has all the usual features and it’s super light. The iPhone X feels lik a brick compared to the LG. Th biggest drawback is the camera glass. The glass shattered spontaneously as I was holding the phone. The phone was never dropped. I have seen posts online with similar issues. The phone and camera still work, but it is no longer water resistant.

It was the screen thar convince me. All features are great. Is has a operating sisten very simple and powerfull. I ove it now came our the V30+.. Stu\ill this model is a sweet deal.
