Defective OLED display.....((

The phone is great, stylish , fast, fancy, but when you will open your apps in the dark room you will be very unhappy. It appears to be new OLED technology is not perfect yet. Apps with dark blue or darker colors will appear very bad on a low brightness. I noticed that when open CLOCK app . Dark blue screen looks very weird uneven and defective. My initial reaction was phone is defective, but after i searched forums it appears to be a defect with OLED panels . For pricey phone they could do better. I will not buy v40 after v30, if this issue wont be resolved.

Still learning about the lg v30 so far it a good product it fast and clear when talking on the phone. Take good pictures and video. It water proof. I refer this phone to all my family and friends to buy.

I have had this for two weeks now.
Let me tell you my opinions on LG V30. Coming from V20, V30 is a major upgrade in all respects. I wish it had removal battery but now we got wireless charging, and IP68 water resistance so you cant complain. I have had no issues with the phone since I got it. Camera is exceptional. Front facing one kinda sucks though. Battery life is on par with Samsung S8 plus, Note 8, and One Plus 5T. It is better than any of iphones in terms of battery life. I am a phone enthusiast so I have had many phones. This is definitely a top tier phone. Fluid, fast, no performance issue. Not as smooth as my fiance's pixel 2. But nonetheless it is smooth.
