[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My last phone was the Iphone 6, though the new controls took no time to get used to. The Hi-Fi dac works as it should of been advertised perfectly with my M40s, the sound is seems more dynamic and livelier especially as they needed around 45 ohms to power.
Battery life is amazing, the change of battery capacity from 1800 to 3300 really shows in this phone. My iphone would barely last the day so I would resort to lugging my external battery around, while this phone on the other hand, goes from morning to late afternoon with 30-40 percent left for the train ride without ever using low battery mode. I'm already taking advantage of the P-Oled battery savings by using darker themes and blacker wallpapers, I bet i could extend the life longer by turning down the already high resolution from 1440 to 1080.
Some of my gripes are not even about the phone, support for a good screen protector was really hard to find, i ended up settling for one with bad adhesive, i had to secure it with tape.
Another gripe is the cameras, since the front camera turns into a abstract painter in low light, I settle for using the rear camera all of the time. Though the wide angle lense works well for the landscape shot. But I would perfer something like what the Meizu does where you can take selfies with the rear camera using a dmrear display, though i do realize that a copyright suit could occur,
