Display Uniformity Defect - WATCH OUT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an identified issue (search Google) yet LG support claims this is normal performance. Back-lighting is not uniform and grays/blacks display pixelated (especially when screen brightness is less than 30%). When using the phone in a dim or dark room, prepare for the display to look like a phone from the 90's. Terrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lg v30 is a great phone. The display is crisp, sound is amazing and it is feature rich. The battery life is poor at best, yes I know about the battery saver feature but that turns off network connectivity and makes the phone even less responsive. The Hi-fi audio is something that I wish was available without having to have in headphones or be connected to a speaker. Also the phone seems to randomly become unresponsive and freeze up. Barring these occurrences I still really like this phonr and want to make it work.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Features/Settings, Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought this phone a few days ago. It's an improvement over my v10 because it's smaller, lighter, sharper, with some cool new features, and rid of that annoying second screen that although convenient, drained my battery; i also appreciate the better battery life. I was already exclusively LG but having my v10 spoiled me. Though i love this phone, I do miss some features from my v10. I miss multi-wallpaper feature which didnt restrict me to one wallpaper and allowed for my creativity. I miss the somewhat friendlier interface and usage from the v10 and i hate that i can't turn off that persistent battery saver notification in the drop down menu. The calender on this phone is also bland which i can just find a better calender app for that.
Other than that it's a great phone but, as with all phones, has hangups.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As companies are removing the 3.5mm headphone jack I am glad LG has kept it on the V30. The DAC amplifier is truly for audiophiles. What a difference. Wow.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this phone a couples of months ago and have absolutely no regrets. I love all the features, even the ones that I didnt think that I was going to need or use much. It has a great camera which makes taking pictures so much more fun on this phone. I recomend this phone for any one who is looking for their next new phone or as a gift.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the phone a little more than a month now. I have to say love the phone, but........ The camera needs some work. I say this because the HDR seems a little to conservative. (Taking pictures in low light and having bright backgrounds or visa versa). I have gotten the phone to get really good pictures on auto mode, by the focus touch then using the slide bar to darken or lighten the picuture. With that being said, the camera is capable, but the progammers need to make the auto exposure more aggressive (the HDR capibility really gives you the flexability to do this). I am hoping that the oreo update does this, not sure how complicated it would be but i believe if they did this they can have a better dynamic range then the galaxy line that samsung puts out. Im really hope that they work on the still camera on this phone and not wait until the G7. If LG does then they can open up the market for the G7, just like the v20 opened the market for the v30. Go LG.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just go this thing after reviewing this phone and doing alot of research, and LG you really outdid yourselves here. After moving up from your G6(which is still a great freaking phone), I honestly couldn't be happier with this upgrade. You guys seriously make the best phones and I'm very pleased. Keep up the good work!
