[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The phone itself is awesome, has a quad DAC for audiophiles like myself that supports MQA as well. Has an amazing dual camera. Most of the competition is focusing on "portrait mode" but wide angle is so much more useful. My only complaint really is the fact that LG is behind on software and software design. You either chose to use the ios wannabe set up or go old school with the apps button, no swipe up feature like modern Android phones and they took away the ability to use 3rd party icons as well. Besides that it's a solid phone with great battery.
Pros: Style/Design, Performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG V30 was the best choice of a phone someone can buy. I absolutely love this phone. I have already dropped this phone in a tub of water on accident while listening to music and the only thing that happen was it turned off the capabilities of charging and kept playing music. The features of this phone feel endless and the camera is premium! The V30 is the best phone on the market in my opinion.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good performance and high quality sound for the price on the phone. Overall, it is an amazing phone to have
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality, easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so easy to use I am amazed. If you think I'm joking just try it. Coming from the LG Treasure or L51AL to the LG V30 was a breeze. The Quad DACs make headphones sound like they should. Try this phone and fall in love again, Honest.

Best Device I have owned...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the V30 on the release date after reading up on all the features it was supposed to have, and that was not a decision that I regret. The LG V30 is a brilliant device and is honestly the best device I have purchased.
The manual setting modes for the cameras give you all the control you could want while taking photos on a smartphone. The very welcomed return of LG's update to the wide angle lens is fantastic and I use it nearly every time I have to take a picture. I get better framing of landscape shots in everyday situations whereas using a telephoto or normal smartphone camera lens I would have to step back for a wider shot which would lose some of the crispness and detail that I need.
This phone is also very fast. Packed with the latest mobile processor, you should not struggle to accomplish any variety of tasks you may need to on your mobile device. I have not had a single issue with freezing or applications loading slowly.
The HiFi DAC built into this phone definitely brings a lot to the stage while using headphones on the go. Non-HiFi tracks gain a lot of depth and clarity when the DAC is enabled and you have the power to choose the response you are looking for with the presets enabled on the DAC. Individual channel gain controls really polish off the features of the DAC by allowing you to correct L/R balance issues and possible environmental noise that your headphones may not block out fully.
Topping it all off, this device is beautiful. It's very thin and sleek considering all the features that LG packed inside this phone. It feels great in the hand and is pleasant to look at. I am very proud to own this device and I have absolutely zero reservations about purchasing this phone. I would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality, easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked this up last month after my V10 got the infamous boot-loop error. The V10 was an awesome phone up to that point, so I'm giving LG another chance. So far, everything I liked about the V10 has inproved with the V30 except the removal of the second screen (I do miss that).
Pros: Performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having owned over 25 of the flagship phones released in the past two years, I have to say that this V30 is a home-run! Now that LG has chosen (wisely) an OLED screen in this device, my biggest complaint has been eliminated. The weight is surprisingly light for a phone of this size and battery life has been great. The audio output via the headphone port is excellent. The fingerprint reader is correctly placed on the rear (hear me, Samsung?) for easy access with no delay in sensing my digit. While I much prefer a stock Android OS experience, LG's skinned version isn't terrible. (I think most users would appreciate manufacturers allowing the user to select between a stock Android launcher or manufacturer-enhanced launcher, though.) While there is no perfect phone for everyone, this one certainly checks off all of the "must-haves" for me. Well done, LG!
