[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone is packed full of features and is very well rounded overall. I really like that LG went to an OLED edge to edge display. The quad DAC makes music sound incredible! Thank you so very much for including the HiFi DAC in the US model this time around! The design is stunning.
Wireless charging and quick charge 3.0 makes this thing easy to top up and the battery life has been very very good thus far. I like the all glass design and the edge to edge display, but I love the camera!
The camera on this phone is beyond amazing. I absolutely love the fact that I can manually adjust all the camera settings. The optically stabilized primary camera is capable of some truly amazing photos and video. The wide angle lens is a very nice touch and I find myself using it more often then I thought I would. It's proven much more useful than a X2 zoom or a telephoto lens.
That said there are a couple shortcomings as with anything. First the front facing camera is very poor. It gets the job done but it's very noticably worse compared to just about any other flagship phone of 2017. The second shortcoming is the screen. It's got an amazing range of colors and I love the pitch blacks however it tends to discolor at less than optimal viewing angles and on a pure white or gray screen you can clearly see some hot spots where parts of the screen are brighter than others.
