Exceptional Phone with a unique Stature

The Phone is very impressive and has a class on its own and gets people attention quickly if it's lying on a desk surrounded by people. The display is just speechless, immersive and very reliable. The quality of phone marries culture of excellence and LG has taken time to pay attention to the details to create a perfect alchemy between aesthetics and technology thus producing uniquely crafted V30. Worth spending money on this phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this in time for deer hunting in northern Minnesota. Snuggled inside of an OtterBox this V30 performed great. The battery held up very well despite the cold weather and it took a beating and didn't skip a beat. The camera took sharp pics of the wildlife and even a few videos from a moving vehicle.
The only problem is finding a tempered glass cover that works well with the curved screen, no fault of the phone.

Love this phone!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My smartphone history starts with the original Galaxy S by Samsung. That phone was a terrible buggy mess. I switched to an iPhone and it worked … and so did each new upgrade for many years. About two years ago my friend who worked for AT&T at the time convinced me that iPhones were bad and the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge was the best phone in the world at the time. I was skeptical, but the fact that it had water resistance and the current iPhone still didn't, I went for it. Well, the S7 edge definitely was beautiful looking and it did a lot of cool stuff. But it was a an awful reminder of the original Galaxy S. I had been going back-and-forth with going back to iPhones for sometime due to this. Then I learned about the LGV 30. I did a bunch of research (as much as could be done prior to its release) and it seemed to be the android phone that might actually work for me. As it turns out, I do believe that is correct. This phone does what it's supposed to do, when it's supposed to do it. It doesn't turn the flashlight on for no reason or start playing Pandora for no reason. It absolutely works and works well. The battery life compared to the S7 edge is vastly better. I would have to recharge once and sometimes twice throughout the day on the S7. I can make it through the entire day and night and still end up with 30% battery most days. The phone is sleek and beautiful and really a pleasure to operate. If I had to be picky and gripe about something, it would be the fact that the headphone jack is on the top rather than the bottom. I've quickly adjusted to it, but I still don't like it. Another great feature is the fingerprint button on the back , it is lightning fast at recognizing me. It also was an adjustment to use, having been used to home buttons being on the front with iPhones and the S7 edge. But that is now very comfortable. Then three is the DAC audio output. I'm big into music and the clarity/punch etc. of the music into the car stereo is amazing.
Bottom line this phone kicks some serious @$$!!!

I've always Love LG phones I had my LGg 4 for 5 years and would've still kept it if I hadn't broke it accidentally. But I guess it was meant to happen to upgrade to this Beauty the LgV30.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A few minor quirks, so to get the positives out first:
1. The audio is amazing! The best audio I have ever experienced on a mobile device bar none.
2. The camera is pretty nice and the wide is way more useful then telephoto.
3. The screen looks really good.
4. The finger print unlock is insanely fast.
5. The general performance is pretty good.
6. Even though it is a large screen it fits nicely in my hand and doesn't feel like a phablet (ala iPhone Plus).
So those are the positives now on the quirks:
1. After some time the phones performance did start to degrade but this may have to do with things I changed or apps I installed I did a wipe of the phone and didn't mess with any major settings it seems to be fine now.
2. The camera is good but the low light leaves a lot to be desired and the auto mode isn't fantastic as well as the auto focus could be better.
3. Some bloat ware (mainly ATT) and a lot of little LG applications I don't really need but not a major issue.
4. I discovered after hearing about the Pixel and other phones using the LG panels having the weird low brightness spotty back light issues, and mine does have this to some degree but honestly is not a deal breaker the specific circumstances that you have to have to even see this issue is not a situation I will be in very often.
So yeah overall pretty satisfied with my device and would recommend it.
