[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Eagerly awaited the arrival of the V30 as I was ready for an upgrade from my V10. For a minute, considered the Pixel 2. So glad I stuck with the V Series!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my V30 for exactly 14 days. The phone itself is awesome. The front facing out of the box settings need to be improved or changes but that's a easy fix with many camera features. Unfortunately, I'm starting to experience some kind of pixel burnout on the screen that comes and goes. I've read some reviews and heard both the V30 and Pixel XL are having this issue. Which makes this such a drag with the heavy ticket price they both carry . I'm also experiencing a horrible signal consistently. I'm sure it's the phone because when I use my V10 in the same places I get a full signal. Luckily even with the bad signal I'm not dropping calls. But overall the phone isn't bad. I would recommend buying this phone if you are really into taking professional style pictures and if you have a really great pair of headphones with a cord. Because the quad dac is awesome.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wrote a long and detailed review that took me like 30 minutes to write and it got deleted. In summary good phone, the screen is garbage, fix auto brightness it's not smooth.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month ago. The screen is great. Beautiful resolution. I was disappointed because it doesn't have the ability to be a tv remote. The camera is horrible. I thought that the camera would be better for as much as I am paying for the stupid thing. The camera on my G5 was better than this.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone is just awful. The "wide camera" is nearly useless at low light, and even in best conditions produces grainy out of focus images. The lack of home button is complicating switching tasks, even if by having to do three actions instead of one; swipe just plain interferes with loaded app swipe coding. Im forces to restart the phone at least every other day, but usually daily. It either locks up, or worse, built in mail app looses connection to a server (and ALWAYS its the google gmail server...isnt android google product?). The battery life is a joke, and random drains leave me stranded regularly with 20-40% gone in minutes). I have received replacement after 3 weeks, but the problems remain. And the screen sucks, full, nonresponsive/inaccurate touchscreen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

LG following the crowd :(

One of the reasons I liked LG was that you could still replace your own battery. This is following a really bad trend! Also, please consider making some top of the line phones that are small enough to fit into the front jean pockets. Other than that, the phone appears to be great, but major starts removed for that!

Thank you so much for the feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know your thoughts so we can improve. ^CP
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Camera is great. Predictive text seems useless. It doesn't suggest or predict next words like my former G4 did. I miss the clock app on the G4 and the window case that allowed the clock face to be seen when phone case was closed. Overall...the V30 is fine. I expected to like it more than I actually do.

Good phone but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the phone. The main cameras are great. The forward facing camera not that much though. The thing that has made me drop my star count to 3 is dust. Dust is collecting behind the glass on the top and bottom of my unit and i cant get it out. I dont know if this is happening to alot of units out there, but it makes this phone which looks really good look really horrible. I am going to be contacting LG about this when i get the time and hopefully they exchange the phone for one that does not have this problem. Other than that, a really solid phone.
