The Best Android Phone Ever Made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG V30 should be the #1 selling phone on the planet.The LG V30 nails all the details too often ignored by other manufacturers who plow their resources into marketing instead of innovation and quality. Its a very light and thin phone that can be dropped without a panic attack due to its 1st class build quality. No need for a case or insurance policy. Despite its 6 inch display, the V30 feels like a much smaller phone thanks to its very light weight and gorgeous edge-to-edge screen. The cameras(there are three of them) are all excellent. The audio output with headphones is better than any phone I have ever had. I'm sure better phones will be made in the future, but today this is the best phone ever made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've recently upgraded from the LGv20 to the LGv30. The LGv30 has definitely improved in performance, screen quality and overall build. Not having a removable battery is kind of a bummer, but id rather have the waterproof quality that the LGv30 provides. Only thing that I took one star away from is that the LGv30 doesn't have an IR blaster to control my old tv (which I've done lost the remote for). Other than that, this is a solid phone.

I was tired of samsung and wanted something new. This phone is better than any of the previous Samsungs I've ever owned.

Outstanding addition to the V series!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG's newest addition to the V series is one of the best all around packages in a smartphone that I've seen yet. The near bezel-less display and subtle curve on the edges also make it one of the most beautiful as well. From the unmatched audio capabilities (the reason why I got this phone), to the Cine-log video recording, this phone has it all. Equipped with the latest chip from Qualcomm, performance is among the best out there right now. The auto setting on the camera isn't as good as the competition, but in manual mode and with a little knowledge of how to setup a camera and frame a shot, you can take excellent photos.
All current flagships are great devices, but each one has it's own special thing no one else does. The Note 8 has it's S pen, HTC's U11 has the edge squeez thing, LG's V30 has the best DAC/headphone jack. Another big thing for me is the Receiver as a Mic, allowing the phone to use the earpiece as a microphone when you're recording a loud source, such as a concert. I use it to record song ideas for when my friends and I play music together. The separation of instruments is mind blowingly good!

Nearly perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone is excellent, but not quite perfect. I do not regret buying this phone, though. The design and build quality is excellent. Tons of great features. It's quick and responsive even in multitasking. The finger print scanner is excellent, and the rear camera is insane. The headphone out is incredibly good even powering high ohm headphones.
The flaws are primarily with the speaker, the screen and the front facing camera. The front camera is mediocre, which is disappointing with such a strong performance from the rear camera. The screen has some banding issues (as are to be expected form an OLED) but it is also a bit uneven in solid, dark color images. The speaker is not very loud or clear, which means it suffers as an alarm clock. These are small nitpicks, however. It's still an awesome phone.
