I was changing providers just as this phone was coming to market and since I already had the LG V20 I decided to upgrade. I was very fearful about not having a removable battery because I put my phone through some serious work. I have so much going on on my phone on a daily basis and the battery lasts sooooooooooo long. Normally, I would have to switch the battery by a certain time but that doesn't happen anymore. The phone itself is very sexy. I do wish that the plus in lavender would have been available to me. The functionality and ease of use is so great. The camera is amazing even though I have no idea what any of those settings are for. My very first cell phone ever was an LG and although I've been with another brand for a while it was quite easy to get back into the LG vibe. I am very happy with my purchase. Of course there are things that could be done to make it even better but nothing that would make me not stay with this LG series.

In my month or so of ownership a whole day hasn't gone by without openning my camera app. I just can't put this thing down. Betweem the f/1.6 aperture on the standard lens and the wide angle secondary I'm always left with several creative options when I go shooting. If you're a camera junky, there's a lot to love on the LG V30.

The new Quad DAC sounds a little better than the V20, and the phone is quite a bit faster. The screen looks excellent also. I haven't had a chance to try all the camera features yet. Overall, I'm very happy I purchased the V30.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this phone about a month ago when my last LG V10 ran into a problem and I have not regretted it yet. The battery life on this phone is phenomenal, it will stay changed for an entire day with normal use and up to 6 hours with constant internet and ap use. It charges faster than any other phone I have had, usually less than 40 minutes for an almost full charge. The processor is so fast I don't even notice any lag time and keeps up with my heavy use. The new OLED screen is unbelievable, rich colors, blue light filtering to reduce eye strain, and the absolute best thing, I can ACTUALLY see it outside in bright sunlight (I live in north Texas and we get a lot of brought sun here) no more looking for shade to see what I am doing on my phone. The camera had been great as well ∧ with being able to see the screen in even bright light makes it more of a go-to for beautiful pics and the panorama shows on this phone are unbelievable. This phone is light and has a gorillaa glass enclosure that makes the phone feel pebble smooth in your hand. While it is not add big as my last LG or the new Samsung Note, I really do not miss a bigger size because of the rich OLED display and it is easier to handle at this size. It also seems to be a tough phone as well as I have already dropped it several times. While it was in a dual layer protective case with a raised edge around the display ther are still other phones that some of the drops would have ended up with a cracked screen or at least a scratch on the display. I have yet to get a wireless charge station for it so I am not sure how well that feature works but I would bet as well as all the others have.
Bottom line of you are looking for a new phone that is as tough as it is stylish and performs like beast look no further you have found the phone that dreams are made of!!!!!
