I'm very addicted to smartphones and have owned many of them throughout the years, and this is by far my most favorite one. Almost every other one had something lacking it to - be it the physical design, OS, camera, or features important to me.
This phone has almost everything I want in a phone. First, it's beautiful. It's very thin, sleek, and light. The thin bezels make the POLED dispaly look gorgeous. It's the type of phone you hate to put a case on because it's just so pretty.
The camera is excellent (although nothing will ever compare to the Galaxy), the phone is fast and very responsive, the fingerprint scanner is also very fast, accurate, and well placed. The voice unlock feature (being able to unlock the phone by saying a keyword) is really cool, but sometimes will not work properly). It also sounds pretty awesome when listening to music with your headphones.
It's not perfect, but it has almost everything - a beautiful design with great specs. The only thing I'll miss is Samsung Pay and Samsung's amazing cameras, but this camera will do just fine and I'll get used to alternating between Android Pay and using a physical credit card.
Please note: the display does indeed have issues when you dim it below 30%. It's noticable when looking at either white or grey colors where you see grey botches. It's noticable, but it's simply a small cosmetic blemish. I recommend that you look into that before purchasing this phone if that kind of stuff bothers you. It hasn't been an issue for me, personally.
Definitely would recommend!

Stunningly beautiful and a superior phone

This is not an out of the box review. I always trick out my phones; launchers, live wall papers, widgets etc. I've now a baseline to judge.
My previous two phones were Samsung Galaxy S3 and S6 Actives. I bought them for durability and they had the performance I wanted. I wasn't impressed by their latest iteration and I found the V30 while shopping around. I was impressed by it's specs. It's durable, has a great camera and it's performance and battery life are superior. Note, I always have battery saver on.
Since my phone is somewhat modified, the actual performance may or may not reflect what a stock phone would be. I will tell you, I see no perceptible difference.
I would, and have recommend this phone.

I recently bought the LG V30 Silver Cloud. It's sleek, slim, seems user friendly so far. It's hard for me to review a product that is fairly new to me. But as for an LG product, I'd prefer this over other brands. When I learn all the ins and outs of this product. I'll update my review. But I know I'm going to love it!

Simply the best audio package on any cell phone av

Just a quick review on the LG V 30 the audio package including the DAC package the hi-fi microphone recording capability the available analog headphone plug is absolutely top of the line for a cell phone it truly is that good but what's amazing is the phone its build quality and the way the Android operating system works with the hardware is quite simply brilliant 4 weeks I've tried to find flaws in the phone the build quality the interface in the way it's set up there quite frankly as nothing wrong it's absolutely the best phone and the best use of interface design Hardware the V 30 quite simply is amazing

Really Nice Phone

I have had this phone a couple of weeks now and it's a good one. It has exceptional battery life compared to my last phone an Asus Zenfone 2. It works well for calls with good sound quality and stability of call. The overall features are really good as well. Camera takes very good pictures and has a broad range of built in features for it. The ability to add a microSD card is really nice as well as the touch id which also works well. Surprisingly it has little manufacturers bloatware. Overall I love this phone. It is thin and surface slick but like most I have added a cover to help protect it and that helps a lot in handling. I recommend it to anyone looking for a new Android phone.

Great phone

I had the lg V10 and this phone is better by far. It's more refined and so far seems overall a more smooth experience. Battery life is typical of most smartphones. I like to have the screen pretty bright so it tends to drain a bit faster. I use it fairly heavy during the day and it hasn't run out of juice yet. The quick charge charges the phone in about 1.5 hours. The screen is bright, colorful and the phone is very customizable. I wish it had a removable battery but I'm getting dust and water resistance so I'm fine with that trade off. LG is offering a free 1 year warranty extension so it brings peace of mind if the battery does fail. I recommend this phone over the Samsung.
