It was easy to put together. Only problem while observing the item, the three alligators are uneven with little glue! I'm able to move them around. Poor craftsmanship!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Toddler Toy!

I purchased this for my nephew's first birthday. Great toy and "walker" in one - it's entertaining with the cute alligators clacking, as well as stabilizing for the little guy who is a bit unsteady on his feet, just starting to walk on his own. Easy assembly - just need a screwdriver to attach the handle to the base, and he was ready to go! My nephew knew exactly what to do with it when I handed it over to him - he immediately grabbed on and walked off, pushing the toy across the room. I thought it might be noisier, but it's much quieter than most of the other toys he has. Great buy!
Pros: Durable, Easy Assembly, Fun, Interactive

Love the M&D quality, one year old grandson loves The toy, only two Allen screws to assemble complete with Allen wrench included ... problem was one of the screws was a bit bigger and did not fit properly in the pre drilled hole. Took a lot of sweat and cuts to my hand and almost breaking the wrench to get that screw in, and it still isn't flush. But he loves it.
