Noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound that the refrigerator makes is too noisy. I would think that it would be a murmuring or humming sound, but instead it sounds like a train. Is that normal?

Not worth the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it February 2025. It is noisy, runs a lot. Have to turn to lowest setting to try and stop it from being so noisy. There has already been one repair man out from Whirlpool and he said they are noisy like this now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does what it's supposed to do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this product since it seems to be the only 33" wide side-by side without ice maker on the door unit on the market.
Disappointed in a number of ways when compared to the 35 year old Whirlpool side-by-side this unit replaced. General design seems to have taken several steps backwards:
1. Limited height adjustments for shelves in main part of refrigerator section resulting in waste space.
2. For a larger refrigerator some genius made the crisper drawers substantially smaller.
3. For a larger box size, the freezer section is deeper but narrower, making it difficult to retrieve items from the back.
4. Who thought putting interior lights in the BACK of the compartments was a good idea?
5. No separate cold controls for refrigerator and freezer compartments. Control increments in steps, not infinitely variable.
6. Advertising says door hinges are hidden. Yes, from the front, but not when viewed from the side (since the unit is deeper than the kitchen cabinets). And the front roller feet look like some sort of after-thought Mickey-Moused add-on.
7. Extra door and freezer shelves outrageously priced compared to perfectly similar units from other sources.

I don’t recommend this model

3 yrs old. Having issues since we bought it. Two service calls had to be made for problems with not enough cooling.

Excellent . . . BUT . . .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Considering interior and exterior design, this is an excellent refrigerator. But there are two features that I would rate “very poor.” First, the advertisement pictures adjustable feet that keep the refrigerator from sliding forward when you open the doors. This fridge arrived with no such adjustable feet, so it slides forward. Second, the door swings freely with no backstop to keep it from hitting the wall. Who would design a fridge like that?
I would recommend this to a friend!
