Problems with keeping food cold enough, twice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator in July, and the refrigerator part didn't keep cold enough to keep our food from spoiling. The freezer worked fine. We resorted to freezing blocks of ice in the freezer, and moving them to the refrigerator section (using it as an ice box) for a month, while we waited for a replacement refrigerator. The replacement came and while it works much better than the first one, we need to set the refrigerator thermometer to the coldest setting to keep the temperature in the 'safe' range. We are waiting to see if Whirlpool can repair the 2nd refrigerator so that we can set the thermometer to the 'ideal' setting.
Other than that, we like the refrigerator and hope that Whirlpool can repair it.

Excellent Side-by-Side

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new WHIRLPOOL 22 cu ft side-by-side refrigerator is everything we wanted and needed. In our limited space, this refrigerator is a perfect fit; and it looks really good in its location. We opted for the Automatic Ice Maker installed by the dealer because we did not want an in-door ice and water dispenser -- another reason we chose this model. In the month that we have owned this refrigerator, we have enjoyed the design, capacity, features, utility, low-noise operation, flexible layout, and we especially like the solid reputation of the WHIRLPOOL brand and the dealer we got it from.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Good Purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can hardly believe there was a fridge to fit perfectly into my space. The look is sleek and blends very well with other appliances. Ample space inside freezer and fridge. Only suggestion is to have one more shelf on fridge side where there are slots to accommodate! And at the bottom of fridge on outside there are little pockets that will be great at collecting dust! Overall this was a very good purchase!

Looks good but the freezer is a bit smaller

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. The reason we bought this side-by-side style is that we want to try a different style fridge as our 2nd (backup) refrigerator.
Pros. Seamless installation and the fridge starts working efficiently.
Looks sturdy and working well in terms of preserving food.
Cons. Freezer is poorly organized and smaller in size as compared to other similar fridges.
Humidity in the fridge is a bit on the higher side.
