I bought this refrigerator on April 19, this I was told was popular, seemed very nice at first, once the appliance was in my home, couldn't figure out how to stop it, from moving everytime you opened a door, so called service, they sent me a tech , just to tell me this does not lock, so I bought a door stopper, which seems to help. But now 2 months later, somehow there is a crack on the bottom, so I called just to get told it's wear and tear and they can't do anything about it. This is 5th appliance by Whirlpool and this one does nothing for me, except disappointment. So I'm going to patch it up, and put something on the bottom to protect it and live with the dissatisfaction. When I do need a new appliance from now on will research a different company.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Never again will I buy an appliance online

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The experience purchasing this online instead of through a local appliance dealer was horrible. The company that delivers the appliance is called JB hunt. I was told they were qualified to install the optional ice maker that I ordered with the refrigerator. That was false. They had no clue how to do it. Second, they did not even know how to level the refrigerator. They were delivery people and that was it. So, the ice maker was not installed, and the refrigerator was not even leveled before they left. On top of those 2 problems the temperature control was faulty. To get the recommended temperature levels inside the freezer and the refrigerator they had to be set at the absolute maximum. That is not a good thing for a brand-new refrigerator. I used to buy all Whirlpool appliances. This experience has soured me on that approach and going into the future I will look into other brands.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Didn't work, broken

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fridge was broken and never worked from the day it was delivered. I lost a bunch of food and I'm wondering if Im insured for any of that loss by the warranty. Not good.
