Jut an `okay` fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Plastic that protects the doors is not easy to get off fully, it 's stuck between the top , bottom and side molding of the fridge.
Interior of the fridge had a few dirty drat he's from manufacture.
Whirlpool uses cheap spray foam to insulate.
Fridge seems to run long.
Freezer door wobbles.
What I did like; deep shelves, a light 9n top and bottom of the fridge.
The fridge is nothing special but it'll get the job done.

Making it work!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator was purchased recently. The dimensions of this refrigerator were the closest to fitting in the kitchen space. I find this Whirlpool refrigerator too bulky and awkward. The inside door compartments easily fall out when holding the door from swinging open abruptly. I have to remind myself to hold the door itself when opening to avoid the abrupt swing of its hinge. Will have to see if this problem can be corrected by adjusting the hinge bolt. I wish that Whirlpool had the dimensions of their refrigerator stock to accommodate the dimensions of my kitchen space. As it is now, this refrigerator protrudes beyond the kitchen counter enough that it reduces the walking space in my kitchen. It maybe a minor problem, but it is none the less an inconvenience. Otherwise, the interior of this model is adequate and the temperature controls are convenient and within reach. The light bulb locations on both sides are too recessed to reach without stretching beyond arm's reach. Otherwise, I am happy to have a working refrigerator back in my kitchen.

Could be a lot better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model was about the only one that would fit in my space, so I really didn't have much choice. I don't like the fact that it does not have adjustable shelves in the main part of the fridge and freezer. And I would have preferred a fingerprint-resistant front. The finish that's on it smudges at the least little touch. It will be high-maintenance, and I don't like that at all. But it is what it is. I just have to suck it up and move on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace a 15 year old GE French door refrigerator that was very noisy and had a water dispenser and ice maker that we didn't use. This side by side is much quieter and doesn't have the extras that we don't need. The freezer side is much easier to find items compared to the bottom drawer of the old GE, which is great. My only complaint is there is no controls for the fruit and vegetable drawers and no cheese/ snack drawer, which is a great option to have. I've invested in some refrigerator organizers which will help keep things ready to take out for meal prep and snacks. All in all, we are happy with the new fridge.
