Meets my expectations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I researched exhaustively trying to find a "quiet" refrigerator. This kind of information is not easily available. So I decided to go with an American company who made a side by side and just see what I got. I'm pretty happy with this Whirlpool fridge! My favorite feature is the way it is lit up when you open the door and it's slim profile. Of course, it makes noise when it is running, which starts up with a little groan kind of sound I'm getting used to it. It seems to run cold and I keep it at the lowest setting.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lovely start but you didn’t finish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fridge is beautiful and fairly quiet, as I hoped. And I picked Whirlpool for reliability. But with this narrow width you need to help make food more accessible. Storage in the fridge side is only about 15 inches wide, and the freezer side is about ten inches. You need to include that detail in the ads. Also I would expect you to include lots of bins and drawers and think carefully about accessibility. I’ve added six bins and am looking at more. Take a look at what you could improve in that area, and let me know so I can order some drawers with a custom fit.

Really Like It!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this refrigerator about a month ago...I was unsure of getting a side by side because I thought I would not have much room, all my other refrigerators had been top freezers, but I was tired of bending down to search for items puched to the back...Pleasantly I ahve found there is enough room for what I need and I have alot more freezer space than a top freezer and no more bending myself in half to find something...I have read reviews saying that the fridge is noisy but mine is very quiet, just a gentle hum to let you know it is keeping your food cold and fresh

Ease of use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't think that I would like the side by side, but I find that I am very happy with it. I opted not to get the ice maker and I have plenty of shelving and room in the freezer. Also, I don't have to bend for the freezer like I did with my bottom freezer. I do miss not having a drawer for cold cuts but I have made it work.

Great improvement over top freezer model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our previous model (top freezer) because we were tired of hitting our heads on upper door, and its shelves were difficult to access. This model is much quieter and the shelving is much more convenient. Exception to shelf convenience: The bottom shelf of the fridge side isn't tall enough to easily place and remove large juice jugs (The next shelf cannot be raised). The doors do not open to 180 degrees, but they open far enough to get most items in and out. Other than the above quibbles, We are very satisfied with it.
