New refrigerator after 40 years.

Lots of space and excellent cooling and freezing. really like the side-by-side concept and it fits well into our newly redesigned kitchen. Very pleased the look and the performance.

Overall, It's A Nice Refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this Whirlpool refrigerator, in black, in September, 2020. I wanted a side-by-side refrigerator, with no included water dispenser nor ice maker. Unit size was also important, for the height of the refrigerator had to fit in the kitchen space provided. This Whirlpool refrigerator had everything I required. I was so happy I made this purchase! It is a nice-looking unit, most especially the shinny front doors, all-clear glass inside refrigerator shelving, two large bins for fresh fruits, vegetables, and deli meats, and amazing bright LED lighting! The freezer is most spacious too, with abundant shelves and numerous side compartments. There is plenty of space for all your frozen food needs. There is one disappointment with this unit though. When the freezer fan operates, it is quite audible. Personally, I think it's too loud. Adjusting the freezer temperature to the lowest cold setting does make the fan operate less, which in turn reduces the annoying fan noise. There is no audible noise when the refrigerator is in operation. The "ideal setting" in the refrigerator is definitely ideal! It keeps all beverages at a perfect cold temperature setting. How delightful it is to enjoy a perfectly cold glass of milk as well as enjoying refreshing cold soft drinks. The moisture setting feature that is available with one of the bins is also most appealing and a nice added feature. Overall, this refrigerator is recommendable. If you don't mind hearing a periodic fan freezer noise, then you will be more than satisfied this Whirlpool refrigerator.

Good Bang for the Buck

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this about a month ago to replace our old fridge, which finally gave up the ghost. I like the side by side feature and the energy saving. The only thing I don’t like is how the cooled air in the freezer falls out when you open the door. Maybe I should have got a unit with the freezer on the bottom.
