An excellent product!!

I grew up using LG products at home and they have never disappointed me that was why I was very sure I would be getting value for my money by purchasing an LG flat screen TV. The TV is awesome, has very easy to setup instructions; even assembling the stand was and easy breezy task especially for someone like me who isn't much into building things.
The HD picture quality is first rate and there are several visual and audio modes on the TV which you can choose from; from cinematic, to games mode.
One thing I am not to impressed about is the sound quality; though fair it's not as loud as you would want it to be as a result I tend to increase the volume so much more than I should.
All in all, this is a great buy and I'm loving my TV more and more, each day!

I like this tv very much. The only thing I would change is the power switch. I prefer something different than a toggle switch on the bottom.

I bought this tv for a small bedroom and it fits the bill perfectly.The tv has a nice look to it, just make sure you have a stand big enough to support it because the legs are on the sides instead of the middle. Picture quality is great.

I am pleased with my purchase of this product. After a lot of shopping for just the right size for a particular area in my home, this was the best value I could find. Everything from the ease of assembly to the picture configuration was a breeze. My only suggestion to LG is that they engineer a better sound system for this model. The volume has to be increased to 75% of maximum to get a usable level, and the bass is overly present in most all settings. The down-firing speakers present a reflection issue as the sound first comes into contact with whatever surface the unit is sitting on. The only fix is external speakers. Otherwise, I would recommend this unit for all of the other positive features.

This 42" LG replaced a 40" Samsung which cost nearly three times as much. The LG overall is the best produce for the price.

Great HDTV for the price

This TV provides a crisp quality picture with plenty of picture adjustments and sound adjustments. The sound is fairly good for television speakers -of course not the quality of a good sound bar but not bad on their own. The remote is good but the buttons could have been spread out from each other as sometimes you find yourself hitting more than one button at a time. Overall a quality set and would recommend .

I thought it was about time for me to purchase a new HDTV (I only had the old style TV). The new LG TV was so easy to setup and I don't even have to wear my glasses now to watch TV. This is an awesome TV, thank you LG!!!
