Good TV

This TV has a nice picture and it works well with a computer using the HDMI. I will probably never use the joystick feature, and it only has two HDMI plugins, plus you need to use the computer screensaver to protect the screen, but this TV has worked well even with displaying documents. Many TVs do not display the letters in a document well when used with a computer, but this one does. The sound is good. This is a really good TV for the price (I got it at a really good price).
Pros: Performance, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this tv for 2 years and the screen flashes and then goes black still have sound. I see your tv's have a lot of issues with this and its ridiculous for what we pay for a flat screen and it only last a year or 2. i would rather buy tv's like we ussed to have cause at least they last a long time. Some of us can not afford to keep replacing our tv's. You should recall them and fix them for us beings there is such a problem with your tv's.

great product

I took the salesman's advice and bought an LG product when he said the screen panel is the newest and best. I'm not disappointed. Love the size, even though I had to buy a new cabinet also! However, I do wish it had more stable "feet". Perhaps one big "foot" in the middle. It wouldn't be good with young kids running around.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Great Picture and package size - very lightweight

What a great picture for the $. I like that the picture size is almost to the edge of the frame. Looks fantastic mounted to the wall. Weighs only 22lbs. The only downside is the placement of the connections on the back. It was very difficult to find a 400x400 VESA wall mount that would not block access to the power and HDMI cables. Also, the red led that indicates glows when the TV is OFF is a little annoying as it is too bright. I wish there was a way to disable it. Otherwise it is a great set with an excellent picture and a lot of flexibility to fine tune the sound and picture to your preferences.
Pros: Style/Design

better use of electricity than HD Plasma
on September 20, 2014

My HD plasma spoiled me but the power usage put me in the poor house. This set is nice once I figured out how to set it up to my preferences. It is slower to respond than I am used to, and there are no manual controls if the remote is lost or the batteries in the remote die. It has a nice picture and there are many different settings to choose fro.
Pros: Features/Settings

Good TV with Few Flaws
on November 30, 2014

I bought this for my bedroom. It is great size and design is thin and simple. Picture quality is great after few adjustment.
Few notable cons: 1. Very disappointed on not able to play video on USB connection. I don't know when and why LG deleted this feature. It is a must. I know that this TV has new MHL feature but it is so much more complicated and inconvenient.
2. Sound quality is not bad as few people complained, but because speaker is not front mounted, you can hear loud volume to rear as well as front...which I don't like.
3. Legs are stable and simple. But because of it's wide stance, you need to buy TV stand as wide as whole TV. My other TV has center square leg, which can be sit on top of smaller TV stand.
4. Remote control looks and feels really cheap. You can't tell whether you turned TV on or off bacause there is no sound confirmation. Remote buttons are very small and crowded...You can't see at dark room. User interface also need some improvement.
5. LED TV is thin and nice. But I see little bit of darkness at all 4 corners as LED light can't quite reach the ends.
Overall it is good LED TV. Especially at bargain price. However, LG need to work on small detail to really compete with names like Samsung and Sony.
