Perfect bedroom t.v.

I wanted a second t.v. for the bedroom that was just a basic t.v. without all the extras. This one fit the bill.
The picture quality is great and the price was just where I wanted it. Its small enough to fit yet big enough to see from the bed. I would definitely recommend this t.v.

Best TV we've ever owned.

This LED HDTV replaced a 32" LCD HDTV and has a much sharper clearer picture. And the picture doesn't "wash out" like the LCD when viewed from the side on an angle. It is particularly great for watching live sports like baseball and football.

Great for Price. . .but issues

This is my first LED, having 2 previous LCDs. This is a great value, considering quality and picture, but I have some points that are a bit more personal that may not apply to the general viewing public. There should be a headphone output and better directional sound engineering. My hearing is failing and at times I turn the volume up which irritates others. Headphones solved the problem. Now I must purchase additional equipment (optical audio) that makes this "not such a good value". Also, the speakers are at the bottom of the screen pointing downward (dead-heading) which spreads the sound backward, as well as forward; and alters the quality in the reflection off the table top and the wall behind; phase muddled, frequencies lost. Additionally, the leg spread is wide and demands a table top that is, for me, larger than I have-incurring additional cost.

I bought this LED TV because of its price tag which was very affordable and picture quality which can give run for its money to any other LED TV which is much higher in price than this. Its being a pleasure watching TV @ LG @LB5600 @ 42 Inches......keep your products affordable and within reach of all.

I purchased an LG 42LB5600 several months ago. It is a 42" LCD HD TV that is just terrific. The picture is clear, clear, and brilliant.
I have have had several LG sets for several years. I find them excitingly good and reliable. The pricing was good and they give me good value.
The only fault I can fine with the LG 42LB5600 is the the sound could be more clear. Probably due to small size of the speakers. I am considering the purchase of external speakers.
