This is a replacement for another brand we had. Knife cuts well and is easy to handle, (I'm 70 with arthritis in my hand). I consider this knife to be light in weight.

I don’t think the handle was comfortable at all. Was slicing a 13lb pork tenderloin and needed to switch hands often. Aside from that, it’s extremely noisy and gets very warm. If I still had the packaging I would have returned it. I truly expected more from the Cuisinart brand.
