First of all, it is a 2-blade knife, though it says "single blade" on the box. It could not slice brisket, and that is the only reason we replaced our ancient one. It cuts just as well as the decades-old one, which is unsatisfactory. I had better luck with a carving knife and did it all by hand. Returned the knife.

I bought this based on Cuisinart's reputation. I was disappointed. This is not worth even considering because of how poorly it cuts. My 50+ year old GE electric knife with a damaged blade out performs it.

I am very happy with the way it cut and it is easy to hold, but I was using it for an extended period to cut a half ham and it got so hot I couldn't hold it and I had to stop snd let it cool off. If I had known it had this problem I wouldn't have bought it.

Bought because electric knives can be helpful for those with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Unit is heavy, on/off switch on top of unit is difficult to use comfortably.

Bought it as a replacement when the old B&D motor died. This one has a stronger motor an a much sharper blade. Works well on bread, ham turkey and filleting fish.

It was hard to use to curve a turkey. I bought it for our 24 lb turkey at Thanksgiving. It did not carve cleanly. Kind of shredded the meat. I was disappointed.
