I have owned electric knives before, but this Cuisinart is outstanding! The ergonomic handle makes all the difference in being able to slice meats away from the bone with ease. I didn't have one for Thanksgiving, but I made sure to have the knife for Christmas dinner. Love this knife!

The first time I used this knife, it got so hot that I had to set it down for 10 minutes before I could use it comfortably again. It doesn't have the power to make it through tough jobs like slicing up a smoked pork belly or a full beef roast without getting uncomfortably hot.

This is probably the fourth electric knife that I have purchased in my 50 years of marriage. I bought this one to replace another one that I had bought not too long ago, but didn't like using because it was so awkward to cut with. The Cuisinart is wonderful! Very easy to hold and to use for cutting and carving. I really like it.

This is my second electric knife by Cuisinart. The first one was great but the case cracked so I bought a second one. I had to press the button so hard to get it started and it would quit if I didn't keep it pressed as hard as I could. I ended up carving the pork roast with a regular knife. I had to return it after one use. I was really disappointed.
