I have always trusted Cuisinart but this knife disappointed me. I needed to apply too much pressure to slice a roast. To me, that’s a big failing in an electric knife. My manual knives work better. I especially disliked the the location and feel of the on/ off button. When my hand got slippery from meat juices and fat, I found it impossible to keep the knife working. I am returning this knife.

So far so good; my hubby used it to cut the Turkey this year and was quite pleased. Easy to remove blades for cleaning. It will get its next work out on the Christmas roast!

One thing which I really miss is the cord was able to unplug when not in use. Consider this feature in making other models.

It doesn’t cut quite like I thought it would. I used it on my turkey and prime rib for Thanksgiving and Christmas and I felt useless. I should have stuck to my regular carving knife. I wish they could make better blades.
