Installation was fairly easy. Enjoy the remote control;. Cools a good sized room (20X16) effectively.

This unit was fairly easy to install and has kept our bedroom cool in Lousiana in the middle of the summer. We love the timer feature, so we can turn it off while at work and set it to come on and cool the house right before we get home. It saves money!

When I bought this product I was replacing a very old unit. It is like night and day how much better this unit is. Much more quiet and efficient and less clunky for the BTU. I love the remote feature and that it is quite simple, only a few settings. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to get a window unit.

This a/c works very well. A little nosier than i thought it would be but then again, we've had central air for the past 7 years until we moved so I think it's more that I forgot how the wall units are louder.

Overall excellent but cheap clips

Overall very good AC, quiet operation. But the retaining clips on the bottom that hold the rail for the side louvres are very cheap plastic. I anticipate these will break off after 2-3 seasons if you're not careful. Which would render the AC useless unless LG can send you a supply of them to replace as you break them off installing/un-installing the AC. Otherwise would have been 5 stars across the board. The remote was cheesy too. You almost have to be directly in front of the AC for it to work. If you aim the remote at the AC from a side angle, it might not work,

GREAT value for the price

This unit replaced an older, smaller but similar LG unit. The other unit was relocated to another room. This newer model is easy to operate and easy to maintain. I especially like the automatic feature that restarts the air conditioner after a power outage. The filter on this newer model is also MUCH easier to remove and reinstall. Although a higher BTU rating, this newer unit fit in the same size opening as the previous unit, and the electric bill is NOT noticeably higher. The remote control is also a nice feature.
