Love the French Doors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful looking refrigerator! Love the French doors and the freezer on the bottom. Very spacious easy to reach all items. Replaced 14 year old Whirlpool fridge that still worked great, we changed color from white to the beautiful stainless steel. I Highly recommend Whirlpool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this now for a few weeks. It's replaced our 18 month old unit (different style) that Whirlpool had repaired 5 times for the same problem before realizing it was a defective unit. Although this is a much cheaper model..(and 2 cu ft smaller). at least it works. I gave 4 stars because it is not as well made (structurally). You have to make sure the freezer door is pushed closed because it doesn't slide as easy as the other did. Also instead of a solid interior in the freezer there is a basket. The ice bin is too small & doesn't have a high enough back & sometimes the ice will drop to the back which I have to pick up. I do have to say that the icemaker works awesome. It almost makes too much ice! The refrigerator part is good. It does have a space in the back between the shelf where things could potentially fall thru but it hasn't really been an issue for me as of yet. It is a little noisy when the unit is running. Very basic adjustments compared to what I had before but in this case....

Makes loud noise constantly

Operates well; shelf problems

Our Unit is less than a year old and runs well, with uniform cooling. It’s easier to see everything in the interior compared with our old fridge.
A couple of problems: I notice others brought up the issue of the strange gap at the rear of the shelves. The shelves are not flush with the back wall. There is no lip or gasket to prevent pushing items back too far, and they fall into the gap. I’ve included a photo where I put an avocado in the gap so you can see it. It’s a very strange design flaw. If I still had a house full of kids, this would be a big problem.
Today I took out the crisper frame for cleaning for the first time and am pretty amazed at the ordinary styrofoam sealing the back, for an expensive refrigerator. This is hard to clean, and looks like it would be easy to chip or break. I’m having trouble putting the frame back in. It doesn’t slide in easily, and there are only two bolts to support the sides of the frame. I’m combing YouTube now to see if I can figure this out, but all the crisper frame designs I’m seeing have molded plastic supports.

Very functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rest of the reviews hold true as far as the functionality and Practicality of the refridgerator. The workmanship on my particular model is a bit sloppy as insulation can be seen in some seams and crevices; not sure how it passed QC. Nonetheless, it's a good refrigerator for the money - and very quiet too. If you order one, just tell them they better make sure the seams and crevices are well sealed.

Didnt hookup a water line as that is what destroyed our last fridge but Im sure the icemaker would work great too if we ever decide we need it.
