It gets the job done, but....

They get cold and colder respectively, the electric bill isn't nuts, and stainless steel is a good look-except when it's oxidizes. Yes, after a few weeks of ownership, both doors have developed rust on the sides, indicating it's not truly stainless. The drawers are unbearably squeaky, to the point my GF has to apologize before she opens one to grab the apples. I've avoided storing commonly used products in them, which is tough when you're always hungry. The water pressure on the fountain is also weak. It will take a very long time to fill a liter water bottle. You may begin day dreaming and over fill your water bottle. Frigidaire is a reputable brand, but like Apply, I think they slacked and delivered a weak product. I'm happy with all my other Frigidaire appliances.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Please know our design and engineer teams are constantly monitoring our brand pages for feedback and experiences, such as yours, for future reference.
Stainless steel contains chromium which reacts with the oxygen in the air to form a protective film on the surface of stainless steel. This protective layer prevents stainless steel from rusting or oxidizing in the traditional sense of red oxide flaking off the steel. If you do see rust on your stainless steel, it is most likely iron particles or contaminants on the surface. If you have surface oxidation on your appliance, you may want to clean it with hot and soapy water.
A tip that can alleviate your drawer matter is to rub waxing paper on both sides. This can help with any squeaking and help the drawer glide smoother.
Also, if the water from your dispenser is dispensing slowly, you will need to verify water pressure/flow. It should take 10-12 seconds to fill a cup with correct water pressure.

Love the ice maker!
