Great fridge, not so great ice maker

Finger-nails on a chalkboard issue with drawer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We negotiated a fridge in our new home and we too have the problem that someone mentioned below: "There is a manufacturer’s defect in the first of three small drawers in the interior of the fridge - a crooked drawer that, when pulled open for use, grinds on itself for a 'finger-nails on a chalkboard' experience." We can't even use that drawer because its so bad. The water dispenser always drips a few extra drops of water after your done dispensing. We are hoping these will be remedied with our builder 30 day inspection.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

MM1706, congratulations on the new home! I know you stated you had an inspection coming, but I have something that might help in the meantime. Please remove the drawers completely to ensure they have been installed correctly in the guides. Rubbing the gliders of the drawers, and the guides on each side of the refrigerator with olive oil or waxed paper, may help to ease the gliding action.
