Noisy Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is the loudest appliance I've ever heard! It came in our new house, but it is so loud! The ice maker makes noise, the water filter makes a noise, and the refrigerator itself randomly just hums.

Modern high-efficiency compressors operate much faster than older models. The compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound, which is normal. You may also hear humming, from the ice maker makes as the ice mold travels back and forth between its fill and freeze positions.
