Door in Door is super handy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love our LG French Door 'with access door to frequently accessed chilled items.' Love the moveability of the shelves to lower or raise them as my needs to chill change. The compressor and motor are so quiet, I have to listen closely to ensure the fridge is running. I do like the drawer storage, especially the long flat drawer for meats, etc. I have used the entire shelf to chill buffet platters- quite handy. We really love the ice making machine and self contained ice bin to prevent the ice cubes from picking up odors. Expensive, but a terrific fit for our family's needs

Hey there! It's always important to get enough ice from your ice maker during these hot summer days. We recommend checking the water filter in the refrigerator to ensure that it is not empty, as well as making sure that there is enough water pressure flowing into the unit. One of the ways you can do so is by filling at least 8 ounces of water in a cup while counting. You should get 8 ounces in 8 seconds. Spacious, accessible, and dependable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I been with this refrigerator for over several years now. I been very impressed how it works as well the enormous space inside. We are family of 7 so having fresh food to eat has not been the problem. It features an easy access to items without the need to open the doors completely is a plus. Most of all I enjoy how quiet this refrigerator is. I have a simple house and my refrigerator is like in the middle of the house I have to tell you I do not hear it run. Let’s not forget the freezer section, if there is a place to keep your frozen items frozen and at the same time having the ability to access them easily. Then you will love this feature and its unique way to store food. For a longer time frame. My kids had never complained about the water tasting bad since the filter inside the refrigerator makes not only good to drink but it keeps the water fresh and cool.

Nice Looking but Continues to Break Down

I bought several LG products 6 years ago when we built our new home. Most of them work great. However, in the 6 years I have owned the refrigerator, I have experienced multiple issues. Here is the list:
April 2019 - Replaced a bad Control Board
January 2023 - Replaced Compressor after it stopped working
August 2023 - Replaced Icemaker because it stopped making ice
August 2024 - Compressor has gone out again
Fortunately I purchased an extended warranty that covered most of the issues through 2023. However, the extended warranty has expired and now I'm left with a refrigerator that has stopped working again.

The worst!

Good features, but not worth it!

Very functional interior use of space

Nice, but unreliable

5 1/2 years into use the compressor died, replaced under warranty but not labor or drier. Five months later we're told it has a slow leak in cooling system, then the control board failed. Had to replace and it's only six years old.
