Compressor died after 4 years

Works well, big capacity, looks great, but the compressor gave out after only 4 years. What shortcuts is LG taking to make a compressor that lasts only 4 years? LG replaced it for free, but only 4 years?! Minor issue is that crud in the produce drawers can leak in between the front face and the drawer and there is NO way to take them apart to clean them. You're stuck trying to wedge a knife blade into the gap to wash out the food and stains. And don't push too hard or you'll crack the tabs holding them together. Better yet, don't ever try to completely clean the drawers.
