Door-in-door button stuck after 3 days, so will need a new door,
Wi-fi connection app is 200 mb, taking up the space of 10 other apps on my cell phone.

Performing well thus far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this over one month ago. It was very nice once we got it here and installed. Lots of confusion on the supplier's side. Also, one of the main doors and the back panel was damaged by shipping. LG replaced the door efficiently. Lot of nice features, especially the quick access door on the right side for oft-used items that minimizing energy consumption. Will be surprised, however, if that latch lasts very long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had discussed the purchase of a new refrigerator/freezer and preferred the French door design; however, the door-in-door was a bonus! And the advantages of LED lighting leaving zero dark spots nor shadows, common sense real kitchen storage placement and an ice maker that allows/encourages accumulation in the lower freezer section spells quality at a competitive price point. Job well done LG; and job well done for myself!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first new refrigerator we have had in 35 years and we love it. So much space and easy to reach and locate the items you are looking for. We have one concern and that is the temperature in the upper compartment. We have it set on 37 degrees but our test thermometer shows 42 degrees and that just is not cold enough to satisfy us. Would love to know what to do about that. We have had it only two weeks.

Love the drawer for deli/meat so these items are not stacked on top of each other on a shelf. Love the door inside door. Able to lock the ice maker and water from the little ones. Freezer is big enough to fit a large turkey inside also. Perfect for our family of 6.

Great fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the matte black finish. It goes with all the other black appliances in our kitchen. Door-in-door is very convenient. So much easier to access stuff than our old side-by-side. The linear compressor is very quiet, ice and water are excellent, and the controls are easy to understand. I don’t know why we didn’t buy one of these long ago!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wirecutter put us onto looking at an LG. After looking through all the options for a couple of hours to understand the features and downloading the user manuals to answer specific questions, we checked measurements to assure we could get it into our condo, and then we went to a large local appliance store to look. The price was right. The refrigerator certainly is a large step up from the 12 year old one it replaces. We are very pleased with our purchase. We now have 28 cu ft of space compared to 22 before, and, with French doors and a minimum of organization, we can find things easily in the freezer. The door in door access is not totally necessary but really nice. We have the dark stainless color and have not yet managed to create a smudge on it, which is in sharp contrast with our previous fridge.
