LG French Door Refrigerator

Bought this less than 2 years ago and the compressor went out. We ended up losing everything in the fridge and freezer. Took over 2 weeks to get someone to replace the part. We were pretty disappointed with the overall quality. After reading the reviews, it seems that LG has a compressor problem with their refrigerators.

Compressor down AGAIN

Got this 4 years ago compressor went out and had it fixed well here we are a year later and the foods getting warm again not gonna bother calling LG cause there equipment sucks had to take the dishwasher back also got a bosh instead
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My refrigerator is not fixed.

Our refrigerator quit working and we have been trying to get it fixed for almost a month. The extended warranty is not worth the paper it's written on. LG does not care if it works or not. We have been dealing with this problem for almost a month and LG SUCKS at getting it fixed. We have to go to our garage to use a much cheaper, older refrigerator. that works.

Love the French door style. The door in door feature is very nice and convenient. Would never purchase one with ice and water dispenser in the door. Ice maker in the refrigerator door doesn't keep the ice frozen. The cubes are small and clump together. The water from the dispenser shows water stains.
I woke up one morning with water in front of the refrigerator. The refrigerator stopped working and my food in the fridge was warm and needed to be tossed. The food in the freezer was thawed out. I kept the fridge plugged in and after a day it started working on and off. Go figure, four months after the warranty expired it breaks down. If you are still interested in purchasing an LG refrigerator, go with the ice maker in the freezer and skip the ice and water dispenser in the fridge door.
