The ice maker never worked well, it continually jammed and had to be cleared out. Now after just a few years the refrigerator stopped working altogether and major parts have to be replaced. To add insult to injury it’s not easy to find anyone local who repairs LG so I’ll be without use of the for at least 2-3 weeks. I’ve had many different refrigerators over years and this one has been the most problematic.

Barely 4 years old and not staying cold, they keep saying it isn't under warrenty I get that its 4 years old, bt whe you pay 2200 they shoud cover the repairs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was 98 degrees and my whole 2 year old refrigerator decided to die! And it has been 3 weeks living out of coolers. Not great. The condenser is bad...and I'm waiting for a part. My understanding is that it is a known problem...engineered wrong and left until it became my problem. Not happy.

The fridge ran beautifully till a year or two after the warranty fell off. Hopefully the compressor warranty is good but their repairmen don't call or accept jobs.

This model I have has issues with the compressor which failed in June 2022 (4 years old). Fortunately, LG agreed to service this refrigerator. They initial time repairmen came they had to order a newer version of the compressor, corresponding circuit board and another part. Two weeks later, same two repairmen returned an replaced all and now it's working back to normal and hopefully stays this way for years to come!
We like this model's features and design, the reason we purchased this unit.

My frigetor 2 had problems. Lost all my food and never got reimbursed for food lost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator less than 4 yrs ago, and the compressor broke. Learned theres a class action lawsuit against LG for this very same problem.
