Now the compressor stopped working (seems to be a common occurrence with this fridge) and I've been without s fridge for almost 6 weeks. And still don't know when it will be fixed. If this is a common occurrence you would think their repairmen would have the parts on hand. I waited 2 weeks for a repairman to come to my house. He was there for less then 5 minutes and ordered a new compressor. No diagnosis of the failure. The compressor has been on order for almost a month. Fustrated owner.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks fantastic but but the ice maker is garbage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I think LG forgot that they sold this product in an American market. We like ice. The ice maker on this this thing is a joke. It can’t keep up with my wife and the rest of us are battling for ice the rest of the day. Really should have considered that because it is a problem for us. We’ve resorted to buying bags of ice because the output on the LG is so slow. That is my only complaint so far it looks really nice and the the fridge and freezer have plenty of space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a floor model ( DEMO MODE ) for our newly remodeled kitchen. Kinda built the area around the fridge as a center piece. Was explained to me on how to swap from Demo mode back to a regular running fridge. My wife and I have completed this process trice each with the machine on line. Via Wi-Fi it says and reads all is fine. Everything from lights to compressor / fan all work but not cooling. Called and set up a tech appointment. I hope this beautiful piece of machinary comes alive and helps my argument against my wife And others who are skeptical about purchasing a floor model. Very nice investment as I see it. Unique conversation piece. Some friends say I am an ambassador for LG due to the way I present the fridge. By the time I am done explaining the features the listener is ready to go purchase one of their own. LIFES GREAT Thanks LG

It took about 10 days to get a repairman out to look at it, then we had to order parts & schedule another repair appointment. He comes back this week. I’ve been without a fridge for almost a month. When it worked it was great but I didn’t expect it to quit on me before 18 months.

I am so glad that I purchased the 5year extended warranty. I have had to use it on two of my LG appliances.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the looks of this appliance but it has always made a popping noice. The compressor failed and it took several weeks to get it repaired. I thought the popping noise would stop afterwards but it still has the sounds often.
