Redesign Needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this refrigerator for 2.5 years and the water pump and compressor have both gone out. (LG covered the costs to replace the compressor.) At this price point, this should be worry-free for many years. Design positives: door-in-door is great and drawers, etc. are nice and sturdy. Design negatives: Ice compartment is too small and ice is slow to replenish, and none of the drawers can be opened unless both French doors are open.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
