[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator is a good value. It operates virtually noiselessly. Icemaker in door is quiet when dumping ice. However, the door is somewhat heavy because of the ice maker. The configuration allows more space inside of the refrigerator section. I fail to understand the logic of the door-in-door feature when shelves arranged properly in the right side door would accomplish virtually the same. The compressor in our first LG expired much too soon. We're hoping this one is better and that LG has addressed the issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this LG refrigerator. The black stainless steel is what everyone notices as soon as they see the refrigerator. They all ask what is that color, and how beautiful it is. As a heads up, other manufacturers label their product as “black stainless steel”, but they all differ slightly. LG’s is not to dark so that it looks like a black appliance, and also is not as light as stainless steel. It’s an absolutely wonderful combination of both spectrums.
The ice maker in the door allows so much more room in the refrigerator. Albeit a smaller ice maker, there is a designated receptacle in the freezer drawer to accommodate additional storage of ice when you need it.
The door in door feature is also convenient. I put my condiments, butter, and other items I use numerous times throughout the day.
This refrigerator fit into the same space as my old side by side fridge, but seemed to double my storage.
