Bought this fridge 2 weeks ago to replace my 14 yr old LG fridge. So far we are very happy, lots of room and the door in door feature is a bonus. I installed the Smart ThinQ app but was disappointed to find out that it did not have the door open notification option. Just wondering why I can't have this alert option when the app already monitors door opening by day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the outside appearance of this product. It looks sharp, clean, and attractive. The inside is bright and spacious. It has plenty of room and lots of need features and places for for large items and frequently used favorites. I love the storage in the pull out freezer too and the extra storage area for ice when we have a house full. The water and ice dispenser on the outside of the unit work great! Water comes out fast (not true with the last refrigerator using same connections) and the ice is always ready and available. The only glitch in the whole thing is the door in door feature which has a plastic latch which doesn't always work.. The door in door is probably my favorite feature so the soft latch is a disappointment. If they can get that fixed I'd never use another "icebox" the rest of my life! Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replace a top freezer refrigerator with the French Door model with door-in-door LG. Easier to see and get to the containers we use most frequently. Can easily see what is on the refrigerator shelves. No more spoiled food in this refrigerator. In old refrigerator, too many things got pushed to back out of sight. Easier to find things in freezer than freezer on top model. No more frozen foods falling out and landing on my foot. Love the ice maker. Minimal impact of refrigerator volume and shelf space.
