Horrible experience

Bought fridge four months ago it has run extremely loud since it was new. Whirlpool customer service is horrible nobody will do anything about it and I’m done sitting on the phone on hold. It is still under their year warranty and I’ve made no progress to figure something out in four months. Would not recommend whirlpool products based on their customer service

Too noisy too loud

If you’d like to shoot cooking or baking videos in your kitchen, do not buy this refrigerator. This refrigerator is extremely noisy. There should be a decibel notification when buying a product.
Turning off the icemaker does not help. It runs constantly in is very loud.
On the first day that I had this, I asked if someone could take a look at it. I was told that I would have to pay an expensive service fee.
Additionally, this refrigerator arrived with a big stain on the front and black marks inside
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I would add:
The Stainless is not fingerprint resistant at all, should be smooth to the touch or not be described as so. Water drips easily over the edge of the drip tray and is not easy to wipe "with the grain" of the steel. A rubber edge trim on the tray may help.
I love the chopped ice but a cube once got stuck in auger, strained to chop, then popped free loudly. The next 2 cups dispensed had 1 small white plastic sliver floating ontop the water.
I wish the doors top (closeable) shelf had more top clearance to grab my butter container easily like my Maytag did.
Glad I found a side-by-side under 66" (top rear) cabinet clearance

Hinges visible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disappointed shelves are not adjustable, front grill you have to remove with screw driver, screws and gears are visible to the eye on bottom door hinges. Refrigerator looks like it is siting on two plaster grey blocks that protrude at bottom. Very poor design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned Whirlpool appliances for a VERY long time and I have never been so disappointed as with this purchase. First, the shelves are not adjustable, I had to remove a shelf to fit a gallon of milk! After setting up, every time we opened the door, it moved forward a couple of inches! We referred to the manual and it just said to "adjust the feet", this model doesnt have any feet! only wheels, with no instructions to stabilize the wheels! We had to hire someone to secure this and now whenever I will need to move the fridge, we will have to hire someone! there MUST be a solution for this! I am not happy with this!!

Freezer temperature regulation problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would rate it higher but due to energy considerations, I noticed that the freezer portion temperature regularly transitions temperatures above 48 degrees Fahrenheit. It concerns me as this may cause a frozen food safety issue.

Limited space. Runs ALL the time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a very small space for a fridge, so my options were limited. This fridge has turned out to be disappointing. It takes a very long time to make ice. It runs all the time. My biggest complaint is that tall items, like milk, can only fit in one of 2 door shelves or the top shelf. No other shelf is tall enough to hold milk, juice bottles, or tall ketchup bottles. All of my tall condiments are now limited to the same spaces as the milk. There is limited shelving heights in the door. The ONE level that could allow me to move the door-shelf for additional tall bottles, doesn’t exist. They completely missed a potential shelf level in the door that would have given this fridge so much more potential. This was an engineering nightmare. My last fridge was 22 years old and this one runs louder and longer than the old one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have seen this refrigerator get a lot of negative reviews, and I am not discounting them. My experience to date has been the opposite. We love it. Given the space restraints we had in our kitchen, I was just happy to find a fridge to fit the dimensions we needed. It wasn't easy. However, after all was said and done, I think I would order this unit again even if I had a bigger space. We really enjoy the extra capacity that the unit offers on the fridge side. Our old refrigerator had the freezer and fridge space equal. We need more space on the fridge side and this offers it.
The fixed shelving is a bummer. I don't like putting drinks on the door (milk, tea, etc.). I just took the top shelf out and the problem was solved. We haven't had any of the issue with frost that others have complained about. In fact, when the freezer door is open and frost accumulates, it's gone the next time we open the door. The fridge itself is modern and attractive.
We purchased the Whirlpool extended warranty and not the box store's. I like the monthly payments without an end to the warranty. It provides a LOT of peace of mind. You will be offered this warranty when you register your product.
I am happy with our purchase.
