could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disappointed that there are not adjustable shelves in the fridge itself or on the door for better placement of larger liquid containers. Love the ice maker and water dispenser but it takes up a lot of freezer space. I've had to make changes. Very happy with the side by side and exterior surface.

Great Refrigerator if you have a small space.

Would not buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator was newly installed in the house we bought it. It is a side-by-side, which we don't like, but we decided to try it. We're really glad we brought our old refrigerator with us because we have to use it constantly. The shelves in the whirlpool are too close together for tall containers. The two sides are too narrow for wide containers. The on/off switch for the ice maker is in a ridiculous position. I have to twist my arm and then feel for it because it is inside and underneath the main body of the ice maker. Also, the cubes get stuck in the chute and will melt and create a mess if we forget to check.
The refrigerator part is impossible to adjust correctly temperature wise. It is either too cold or not cold enough. None of this keeps it from being used, just make it inconvenient and irritating.
This review will probably be published by Whirlpool, but maybe they will use it to improve the product.
