Great refrigerator

It was hard to find a refrigerator that fit in our space due to living in a manufactured home. And the placement of our cabinets. I really like that the filter is easily accessible so you can change it out.

Good fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great fridge but the freezer side is a bit smaller than what our old one had. We were limited to which fridge we could buy because of the low hanging cabinets above, and I think this was one of the few that would have fit. It does a great job though and looks nice in our kitchen.

The good, bad, and ugly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a 1970’s double door fridge. This was the only double door unit that would fit in the space b/c I am NOT redoing my kitchen. Overall I am happy! Makes plenty ice, keeps things cold, is quiet, and is easy to keep clean. The drawers are flimsy as are the runners. I’m expecting them to break every time I put something in them. Do not take all the drawers out at the same time. I did . It took us 4 hours to figure out how the three of them went back in. Set up directions are nonexistent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased refrigerator a few weeks ago. Tbe motor constantly goes on ..it is so noisy i cannot stay in the kitchen. Even during the night when doors not opened i motor goes on.

New Whirlpool Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our very high price LG refrigerator we purchased in 2016 the compressor went out and was out of warranty the cost to fix it was more than the purchase price of our new Whirlpool
We were concerned that the black stainless color would not match our other LG appliances but it was a perfect match
We will replace our LG appliances with Whirlpool appliances as they also conk out going forward

Loud!

Dear Whirlpool - Please have your design team explain to me why they have forsaken reliability and quality and instead have decided to chase profits. 2 weeks ago we purchased a side by side refrigerator and it, rather the evaporator fan/motor is unnecessarily loud. I took it upon myself to purchase a new Whilpool OEM motor and disassembled it and found that it is manufactured by a Chinese entity, discovering the unit to be substandard in quality, using brass bushings instead of real bearings, no lubrication, and a simple thin washer to stabilize the motor shaft. I am disappointed and saddened by the direction Whirlpool company has taken. Whirlpool used to manufacture quality appliances that were long lasting and reliable. Where is the American pride of craftsmanship?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Is a good refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator in a rush. It’s good but I wish I had read about the features or checked it before I bought it. I don’t like that the shelves are not movable so if I need more space I have to take them out
