Leaking water dispenser

Overall it’s a great side by side but super poor design in regards to the water dispenser. It consistently leaves a drop at the end of the dispenser and there is no tray to catch it so then it slides down the front of the fridge and eventually hits the floor. Lots of room for the size of the fridge but I wouldn’t purchase it again until they change that design

Roomy refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is alot of room in refrigerator but you can not adjust shelf height. Only on doors can you adjust, therefore I have big, heavier items in door like large orange juice, etc. Can not fit large ice tea container without laying on its side. Also, the milk furthest back on top shelf gets partially frozen. That is the only place in fridge with that issue. I have the temperature at the factory settings which seems fine otherwise. Freezer is smaller than I expected. Again, would be nice if you could adjust the shelves but you cannot. Otherwise, ice maker is fast. Whole unit is quieter than my last one. Works well for us. Just have to get used to fitting things around the shelf heights.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simply designed and easy to use, we are happier with this refrigerator than we were with the French Door, Bottom Freezer unit we had before. Also, the ice maker design is really good. Overall, it is the perfect refrigerator for us!!

Beautifully Designed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The time had come to replace our 23-year-old Kenmore (Whirlpool made). It still worked great but it was starting to rust. As Whirlpool is the only manufacturer that makes a refrigerator in the dimensions we require, we once again went with Whirlpool. No regrets. Two minor observations: Our old model had a stop to the refrigerator door that you would push past to open wide. The new one swings all the way open without that detente to pause it half way; just takes getting used to but I did prefer the old way. Second, the water and ice through the door are now filtered which is great but the water is not as cold as the old model. Again, no big deal but I liked the cold water colder. The LED lighting for the water dispenser impressed our daughter as did the bright, well designed interior. The cube shaped ice cubes are a major improvement over our previous crescent shaped ice. It is almost as quiet as our old one, which was amazing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fits perfectly

Uses a fancy and very complicated to maintain kind of "FREON (600)"
As a consequence getting it serviced is a nightmare, even under warranty.
