[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] needed a new refrig. and didn't have the space for a bigger one so we bought this model which in fact was the same measurements as the old one. Love it eexcept for the fact that it's hard to grab ice cubes from the ice bin.

Ice maker works fast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to replace a computers model which we had problems with it was only 3 years old and had to have icemaker fixed twice and defrost wouldn’t work and inside of the back collected ice and caused the fan to start hitting ice build up and making noise. Finally had to replace because it was making loud noise in fan and we didn’t want to waste anymore money on repairs. This Whirlpool model work great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ice/Water feature is a design failure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mixed emotions...on one hand I wish I had kept my old refrigerator and had it repaired, however I was wanting a stainless steel one with ice/water in the door. I prefer to buy appliances from a local small business, so I was limited to 1 or 2 that would fit the space. It is obviously made from cheaper materials, and whoever designed the ice/water feature obviously never tried to use it. I had to buy short drinking glasses that would fit so each time we tried to get ice the water didn't also come out and spill over the glass and down the refrigerator and onto the floor. Have had it for a little over a week, and so far seems to be cooling and working well in general. No, I would not recommend this model refrigerator.

Design Failure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My shelf supports are fixed in place, so offer no adjustment options. Then who in their right mind thinks people want to lift a gallon of milk to shoulder height to store in the frig?!?!? I had to loose a shelf to make space to store my gallon of milk at a reasonable height! Then I had to loose a crisper drawer to make up for the lost shelf!

cost 200 in repairs on a 7 month old refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Dec. 31, 2024. it was the only side by side to fit the space. I was very happy with it but 7 months later everything in the refrigerator started to freeze. Trouble shooting did not work. We had a whirlpool certified repairman, who replaced the part that opens and closes air to the refrigerator from the freezer. this door was stuck open and the contents in the refrigerator all froze.

Poor refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Poor the refrigerator works like a freezer finding stuff frozen in the refrigerator that should not freeze. Ice maker does not make enough ice. I wish I would have bought another kind of refrigerator. Now I’m stuffed with a big g machine that works poorly . Doesn’t work the way it should.I'm disappointed also because the shelf’s inside aren’t good for storage related to the size of items. I don’t think the energy efficient information is correct either .It costs more to run than advertised!!

Crushed ice is great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this last month to replace my kitchen fridge. It’s a good fridge just kind of noisy. But still better than the old fridge! I love having the water and ice available on the outside of the fridge! The old one (not a Whirlpool) had the water dispenser inside the fridge. Was always accidentally bumping it. Lol

Love the ice cubes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a few weeks ago, nice but a bit small, love that the ice makes big ice cubes. The front door came in damaged but it was exchanged with a new door. Overall, it's working well so far.
