Mixed feelings and questioning my decision.

I thought a side by side would be the answer to stuff getting buried in the freezer compartment. Not really. My GF enjoys the ice maker. I personally never had a problem with filling ice trays. The ice maker effectively takes up a third of the freezer capacity, rendering it pretty much as useless as my old one that didn't have one. The refrigerator portion is great. They should complement each other. As far as longevity is concerned, my old Fridgedair would probably have out-lasted humanity itself.

Not bad, could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this for a couple of weeks and so far only have one issue with it. Whoever designed the ice/water dispenser in the door did a very poor design job. The buttons to dispense ice and water are directly in line with each other, the ice being in back of the water. It’s difficult to dispense ice without sometimes hitting the water button at the same time, which dispenses water onto the floor.

Great Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this out of sheer need as my old fridge stopped working. I didn’t want to get a cheap refrigerator but couldn’t afford too expensive either. This was perfect! The size had to be shorter and I didn’t think I was going to find a fridge that had an icemaker in the door because of the size restriction. But when I found this, I was so excited! The temp control is great and storage is ample enough for myself and 18 year old son. The only issue I had was how slowly ice was being made in the beginning. After the first bucket was emptied, ice has been producing faster so that is not an issue anymore!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Replacement refrigerator works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replacement refrigerator is great. Leveling mechanism on first refrigerator was broken (probably during installation). Different crew brought replacement refrigerator and it is stable, level, and working properly. Only wish it had a lock for the wheels so it doesn’t try to role when opening.

Good solid refrigerator
