minor issues

Just bought this fridge a few days ago. Its ok but I have a few issues. The fridge shelves are not adjustable, Gallon of milk fits only in the door. Freezer is smaller then our old fridge. The adjustable wheels do not lock so it rolls outward when opening the door. The manual explains very little.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible tasting water from dispenser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator seems to be working great and I like the larger refrigerator and smaller freezer for a side by side. Our smaller space did not allow for a French door option. The water seems to have a very strange taste vs our old refrigerator with what seemed to a better filter system.

It Worked... in a pinch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this when our 13 year old Whirlpool died. We would have "shopped" for a refrigerator, but were constrained based on the height of the kitchen cabinet immediately above. Good news: the refrigerator fit. Bad news, the cabinet doors above don't clear the refrigerator hinges unless the refrigerator door is opened. The water/ice thru the door is poorly designed. When the deliveries were side by side, it worked fine. New design has them lined up together and we are always hitting the water button when we want ice. The freezer compartment is smaller than the previous, but the ice itself seems more solid and better formed. The interior shelves are NOT adjustable and the top shelf won't accommodate a champagne bottle or even a tall juice bottle. The color of the light illuminating the refrigerator's interior is beyond horrible. Really? You couldn't allow the user to adjust the color or have an alternate bulb available?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
