Side by side refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this refrigerator because it fit perfectly In my existing kitchen. I like the refrigerator but it does have a couple of issues; the ice maker & water system is noisy, the ice comes out forcefully and tends to splatter onto the floor. I was also disappointed that the shelves in the refrigerator do not adjust only the shelves on the door adjust.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like that the water dispenser can be used to fill a pitcher!
However the ice cubes are rather small
The design(like all other refrigerators) Leaves very little room for pieces of ice or chips as they will fall on the floor!
The glass shelves are nice however you’re not able to adjust them without ridding yourself of one
The bottom area outside where the front feet are located should be more aesthetically pleasing
We just received this we’ll see how it continues to work!

We got this model to fit in a non-standard space. Due to covid it was the only model available that fit. It replaced our previous Whirlpool that failed after 10 years. Whirlpool has made several changes in the model over the years, several of them are not improvements but are cheaper.
The shelves in the refrigerator section are not adjustable.
The water dispenser used to use an aluminum assembly in the refrigerator to cool the water. This has been replaced with a coil of plastic tubing which definitely cheaper and doesn’t do as good a job cooling the dispensed water. The heat transfer through plastic is less efficient and I think the old system held more water.
The freezer seems smaller.
The ice maker makes smaller cubes, and less ice per cycle. I don’t know if the also translates to less ice per hour.
The ice and water dispenser no longer has a removable tray to catch drips.
The shelves in the refrigerator section are not adjustable.

Noisy motor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator door opens to far to the right and with any weight on the side door it flies open making me sometimes feel like the hinges are going to get bent or break, Motor is noisy and I do not like the technology of the motor stopping and starting every time the icebox door or freezer door is open and shut. The constant off and on will wear this motor down in probally less then 10 years,
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a new 2019 mobile home and the Whirlpool refrigerator came with it. I am so glad it did because Whirlpool has been around for many, many years and they make very dependable products.
I love the huge produce drawers as well as the glass shelves. I also love the ice maker!! I drink a lot of ice water and it's nice that I don't have to open up the fridge and get water from a purified water pitcher, and refill it all the time.
The freezer has limited door space, but does have a lot of room on the shelves as well as a pull out big drawer on the bottom. It's a great refrigerator and I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been excited to try whirlpool appliances for the first time. We have a smaller space, and this fridge fit nicely. The freezer seems to be a bit noisy, so does the ice maker compared to my old one. I do like the drawers on the inside, I feel there is plenty of room for what we need it for. I do wish the top shelf was a tad lower to fit a gallon carton of milk, or even adjustable shelving would be nice. Some parts of my fridge look a little bad, like on the side and upper corners no impressed with that whatsoever looks like a quality control issue.
