Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in October 2019. Should have done my homework better. Good thing I'm an empty nester because I HATE the freezer capacity and the refrigerator shelving. You cannot move the shelving and I dislike putting milks on the door. Very noisy!

Poor quality

The door shelf bins and drawer bins are poor quality. After having the frig for 2 weeks, a door shelf bin cracked when my shoulder bumped it. 3 weeks later I noticed cracks in the drawer bin. Whirlpool shipped me a new door shelf bin. But a week later it cracked after my husband bumped it! Not very sturdy material for the drawers & bins. We also got unlucky with this frig when 2 1/2 weeks after buying it the temp in the freezer & frig got warmer. The ice cubes melted and water was on the shelves in the freezer. Then it refroze again. The temp in the frig kept going up and down between 42 and 50 degrees. I called Whirlpool and they had a repairman come out to look at the frig. He ordered the needed parts and 3 1/2 weeks later, the repairman finally received the parts and fixed our frig. It works great now (temperature is working good and freezer is properly defrosting again). But like I said, the door shelves and drawer are weak material.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
